President - Andrea Alaniz
 [email protected]

Hi, my name is Andrea Alaniz, and I am honored to serve as President for the 2025-2026 term. Born and raised in San Diego, I have been surrounded by construction my entire life; I have watched projects rise from the ground up and am now learning about the efforts behind them. I began my undergraduate studies in Political Science, but quickly pivoted to Construction Engineering upon learning the strength and momentum of SDSU's CE/CM program.

Some of my favorite courses so far include Construction Law (301), Construction Methods (280), Scheduling (401), and MEP Principles (312). After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in project management, where I can lead with clarity and impact.

Hello everyone, my name is David Faustini and I am the Vice President of Internal Affairs. Originally from Mammoth Lakes, California, I was introduced to the Project Manager path after spending a few summers working as a carpenter building custom homes. When I learned of SDSU’s Construction Management Program, I instantly knew that was the school I wanted to attend.  When I graduate from SDSU in the Spring of 2026 I will continue my professional development as a Project Engineer for Whiting-Turner.
