Hello, my name is Liam Mulrooney and I am currently in my fourth year here at SDSU studying Construction Engineering. I have been a member of the AGC & CMAA chapter since my freshman year, and this will be my second year holding a position on the AGC & CMAA Executive Board. I previously served as the Vice President of Internal Affairs where I brought in engineering and construction companies to speak at our chapter meetings and provide our members with insight into their company and the industry. Most recently, I served as an intern for Shimmick Construction and will continue this internship part-time through the fall semester. I am originally from Stockton, CA, and outside of school and work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, snowboarding, and hunting. I am extremely excited to represent our student chapter and work alongside the other dedicated officers to provide a beneficial virtual experience throughout the semester!

My name is Mikel Schachten and I am a senior studying Construction Engineering. In my free time I enjoy playing golf, fishing, and taking my family to baseball games (Go Padres!). I have been involved with the AGC/CMAA student chapter for three years and am now the current Vice President of External Affairs. In this role, I recruit volunteers for various events put on by the AGC/CMAA San Diego Chapter such as golf tournaments, car shows, and Aztec tailgates. This year I will be participating in the Reno competition and am proud to be on the Commercial team. My involvement with AGC has helped me gain an internship with Swinerton last summer, and the Reno competition will strengthen my resume when it comes time to apply for a full time position. Please feel free to contact me with questions or event suggestions.

Treasurer - Sebastian Galsim

Welcome! My name is Sebastian Galsim and I am the Treasurer of the AGC/CMAA Student Chapter. I am currently a third year Civil Engineering Major here at SDSU and I am from Paso Robles, CA. My responsibilities as treasurer involve managing finances for fundraisers, social events, and membership dues. Last year the now former president presented the AGC Student Chapter to my Civ E 100 class and invited us to join. I had never been in a student organization before so I was intrigued and attended one of the biweekly meetings. They had a construction management company as a special guest and helped me get a glimpse of what life in the professional industry is like. There was also free food! This will be my second year in the AGC/CMAA and I look forward to another year filled with the best people and the most fun events.
